Sam Whitaker

First Baseman#12 · Bats R · Throws R

The Reliable Cleanup Bat

Whitaker bats fourth and vacuums up everything at first base — the combination every manager wants. His two-strike approach makes him the hardest out in the Falcons lineup.

In winter he runs the academy’s hitting nights, teaching juniors to drive the ball to all fields instead of swinging for the fence.
